St Vincent FSA Registration Number Checker
Look up a St Vincent and the Grenadines business company, LLC or trust in the FSA register and see its name, type and status.
What is a St Vincent company registration number?
For business companies, LLCs and international trusts, it is the registration number the Financial Services Authority (FSA) assigns, written as a sequence number, a type code and the year — for example 25168 BC 2018. Domestic companies are registered separately with CIPO, and the tax number (TIN) comes from the Inland Revenue Department.
FSA registration number format
Sequence number, type code and year.
number
(BC, LLC…)
Example: 25168 BC 2018 (Wallace Fine Art Ltd., listed in Official Gazette No. 2 of 2022 and since struck off).
- Input: The full form (e.g. 25168 BC 2018) or just the sequence number; the checker looks up the number. Numbers under four digits need the full form (e.g. 347 LLC 2020).
- Shared numbers: Each FSA register numbers separately, so the same bare number can belong to a BC, an LLC and a trust.
- Status: Cancelled and terminated entities stay in the register; the checker flags them.
- Not covered: CIPO domestic company numbers (e.g. 71 of 2009) and the Inland Revenue TIN.
How to check a St Vincent FSA registration number
- 1 Find the registration number on the entity’s incorporation or formation documents, or in its regulatory disclosures.
- 2 Enter it above. The checker looks the number up in the FSA register and returns the name, entity type and status.
- 3 Check that the name and entity type match and that the status is active — the same number can exist in more than one register.
- 4 For the separate tax number, see our St Vincent tax ID guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which register does this checker search, FSA or CIPO?
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) keeps the registers of business companies (formerly international business companies), LLCs and international trusts; the Commerce and Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) keeps domestic companies under the Companies Act 1994. This checker searches the FSA register only.
What does an SVG registration number look like?
FSA entities are written as a sequence number, a type code and the year, for example 25168 BC 2018 or 347 LLC 2020; the FSA’s online register shows only the first part. CIPO domestic companies use the form 71 of 2009, which this checker doesn’t cover.
Is the company registration number the same as the TIN?
No. The FSA says a business company must obtain a Tax Identification Number from the Inland Revenue Department after incorporation. The TIN is a separate, numeric number generated by the Inland Revenue Department’s system.
Why does a struck-off company still show up?
The FSA register keeps cancelled and terminated entities with their status, so a number can be found even though the company no longer exists. The checker flags these as not registered — always check the status.
Does FSA registration mean the company is licensed?
No. The FSA says a business company cannot carry on any activity that needs a licence from the Authority — such as mutual funds, international banking or international insurance — unless that licence has been granted.
Is there an official online TIN check?
No. The Inland Revenue Department’s TIN submission to the OECD answers “N/A” to the question of an online TIN-verification tool. Our St Vincent tax ID guide explains the TIN.
